This app has many options to change font, text size, and other typical Word type functions, including word count, which is crucial for me. From there, I needed to experiment a bit before finding that it was then possible to single tap at the point I wished to paste text. By tapping the left handle, I was able to open a small menu which includes the option to Copy. Handles appear, which one can drag to encompass more text. After submitting a review, the developer reached out to me and suggested double tapping the text. But it may be the app I’ve been looking for! Initially, I was unable to select text with my iPad. You can still open it by going into macOS's Security & Privacy prefpane immediately after trying to launch it, where there will be a button labeled "Open anyway", but this bogus-why isn't this developer verified with Apple yet?
